Founder Tim Hillgarth grew up surrounded by the culinary talents of his mum, Michèle—whose Italian father, Eugène, and French mother, Nancy, taught her to cook with heart and flair. This heritage sparked Tim’s mission: to bring the same magic and comfort into jars of gourmet pasta sauces that can be stirred into dinner in minutes.

Dissatisfied with supermarket jars full of preservatives, Tim began experimenting to recreate authentic home-cooked sauces. After gaining inspiration while cooking in Barcelona, the first Saucerer recipes—the “Green One” and the “Red One”—were born, setting the stage for a bold, flavorsome journey.

Today, Saucerer crafts small-batch, vegan-friendly stir-in sauces made with high-quality, ethically sourced ingredients.
